Job Description:
Bayside Surveying LLC, founded in 1993, is currently seeking a new addition to the crew! We provide a variety of services to Tillamook County and the surrounding communities.
Topographic mapping, Boundary Surveys, Construction Staking and much more.
Responsibilities:
Assist field technicians in conducting field surveys and data collection Use hand tools and equipment to perform measurements and gather data Follow established procedures and guidelines for accurate data collection Assist with the preparation and maintenance of survey equipment as well as basic inventory Collaborate with team members to ensure project objectives are met Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working in the field Office and computer work daily Requirements:
MUST BE ABLE TO CARRY 50LBS ON A DAILY BASIS Ability to work/walk/stand in inclement weather for up to 8 -12 hours Punctuality Ability to transport equipment and tools over uneven terrain and clear brush Basic computer skills Ability to work alone with directions given or in a team Valid driver's license High School Diploma or Equivalent Willingness to learn, take direction and give direction Basic knowledge of algebra for calculations and measurements Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record data Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members Note:
This is an entry-level position, so no prior experience is required.
However, candidates with relevant experience or certifications will be given preference.
Training will be provided to develop skills necessary for the role.
