Pelican Brewery CDL Driver- Local
Summary of the Position:
The Pelican Brewery CDL Driver performs critical supply chain tasks that enable efficient operations between the company's facilities.
The Pelican Brewery CDL Driver performs a variety of functions focusing on the transport of goods and materials between primary operations facilities and transfer of wastewater for local processing.
Other regular tasks performed include:
coordination with warehouse, brewery and 3rd party logistics staff to maintain operations schedules; assistance in the warehouse picking and loading orders; performing inventory counts and keeping accurate records.
Key Accountabilities:
will be responsible for tracking the following but not limited to:
Performs regular transfer of finished beer from the brewery to the warehouse (4.
1 mi)Performs regular transfer of materials and ingredients from the warehouse to the Brewery.
Performs regular transfers of brewery wastewater to local digester facilities.
Careful and responsible handling of goods and materials in a bonded warehouse that stores, transfers & keeps inventory of alcohol.
Inventories must be consistently accurate and may be audited by state and/or federal authorities.
May be asked to drive occasional regional day routes.
Performs frequent repositioning of trailers for optimal workflow and safe loading/ unloading.
Carry out regular inspections to maintain safe and clean vehicles and equipment.
Show off your passion and knowledge about craft beer and have fun participating in industry events such as tastings and new releases.
This is an evolving position.

Able to stand and/or walk for duration of shift (up to 10 hours).
