What you will do:

The Recruiter will be part of the Human Resources team based in Tillamook, Oregon. The role s primary responsibility is to support the Human Resources team in fair and equitable candidate sourcing processes for union and non-union roles located in Tillamook, Portland and Boardman, OR. Reporting into the Direct of Talent, the Recruiter will be an integral part of the rapidly growing Tillamook organization.

Additionally, this role will include providing candidates (or customers) with compelling and positive experiences during the recruiting and hiring process and ensuring that company mission, vision and values are represented. The Tillamook brand is focused on building strong, consistent and effective candidate sourcing processes to support the company s continued growth.

Here s a day in the life:

  • In partnership with the director of talent, implement staffing strategies that integrate into the organization s diversity and inclusion strategy

  • Continuously follow-up with clients to confirm staffing plans and candidates needs are met. Possess a wide range of experience on current external recruiting policies, practices and trends. Propose and implement ongoing improvements to TCCA's recruitment efforts.

  • Utilizing a servant leadership mindset, drive for continued improvement in customer experience, who are broadly defined as candidates, new hires, hiring managers and external recruiters

  • In partnership with Director of Talent, create strategy for external recruiter partnerships with focus on consistency on agreements and a subtraction in partnerships in total

  • Work toestablish a strong network within the community and overall industry showcasing our organization as an employer of choice for candidates

  • Own overall strategy for hiring metrics, including reporting on vacancies, average time to fill and goal vacancy percentage

  • Source and recruit candidates for a wide variety of corporate and manufacturing non-union and union positions in Portland, Boardman and Tillamook locations.

  • Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands.

  • Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a high-paced, changing work environment as well as the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks and manage work time efficiently.

  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy.

  • Demonstrate teamwork skills.

  • Developing and delivering recruitment process training to hiring managers.

Skills you ll need:

BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience with excellent academic record.

5+ years of human resources experience, including at a business partnership level, recruiting, interviewing and assessing candidates for best company fit. In addition, experience in development of proactive staffing strategies. This role requires a keen ability to create trusted relationships at all levels and must include a consultative, thoughtful approach.

Must be able to fully utilize the capabilities of an applicant tracking system, PC proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
